Professor Anna Middleton founded and leads the Your DNA Your Say study for GA4GH. This project offers a global public voice on attitudes towards genomic data sharing and the findings of the study will be used to support policy and strategy for the GA4GH. Anna is Head of Society and Ethics Research at the Wellcome Genome Campus in Cambridge (including the Wellcome Sanger Institute) and Professor/Affiliate Lecturer at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge. She is a registered genetic counsellor and an experienced social scientist; she is the current Chair of the Association of Genetic Nurses and Counsellors in the UK and ROI. She has expertise in genomic medicine and the delivery of genetic counselling services in a clinical setting and also has expertise in public and patient engagement with genomics.
