Ian Dunham is Director of Open Targets and a member of the Faculty of EMBL-EBI and the Sanger Institute. Over the last 5 years he has developed the scientific programme of Open Targets to identify and prioritise drug targets, including development of the open source resources, the Open Targets Platform and Open Targets Genetics. Previously he has been involved in many of the major genomics initiatives of the last 25 years including the Human Genome Sequencing Project, ENCODE, the HapMap and Ensembl.
