Bridging Data and Workflows from Research into Healthcare 

Genomic datasets being created in the healthcare setting is increasing.The need to connect datasets across research & healthcare is thus not going to disappear in the foreseeable future. Clinical healthcare are held in different environments and are therefore fragmented, and data standard uptake inhibits interoperability. 

This session is an interactive workshop using on-line tools (Mentimeter) to explore the gaps and barriers between the two environments . The desired future state is modelled using a European 1+MG proof-of-concept adopting many GA4GH and other standards for the rare disease driver project. The goal of integrating across technology and operations across multiple organisations is the focus of our analysis in order to shed light on technical and operational gaps that we need to overcome.
