Addressing the challenges of federated data sharing with large passports necessitates a multifaceted approach. This session will delve into existing implementations of federated genomic data ecosystems to explore strategies to optimise interoperability and efficient data transmission methods.

We will discuss task-specific tokens and other methods of limiting scope of tokens to support efficient data transmission of identity and access management methods and the tradeoffs between obtaining tokens from an authorisation server versus issuing new tokens within the clearinghouse.
