This session aims to discuss the topic of federated machine learning, with the possibilities of privacy preservation. This forum would look to discuss the requirements of the space, the existing products that are being developed, as well as how these requirements overlap with existing GA4GH APIs. The group will aim to develop a plan for improving federated machine learning, explore how GA4GH APIs can be used to enable this work, and determine if new APIs or capabilities need to be developed.
