Building on the right to science, the Regulatory & Ethics Work Stream (REWS) creates community based standards, tools and resources that address the regulatory and ethical challenges in sharing genomic and related health data. However, genomic data sharing communities may require additional guidance on how to identify the need for REWS products, assemble an interdisciplinary team to support rigorous development of the product, and navigate the GA4GH product development pathway. This session aims to bring the broader GA4GH community together to discuss the REWS product development process and strategise ways to improve synergy and catalyse product development activities between REWS and Driver Projects, Work Streams, large-scale initiatives and other GA4GH communities.
