Through a three-round modified Delphi study with an international panel of genomic data stewards, repository managers, and other institutional stakeholders, we identified 73 outcomes that support effective data stewardship in cloud environments. After Rounds 1 and 2, 31 outcomes (42%) achieved consensus, defined as ≥70% agreement on both importance and feasibility. In Round 3, the expert panel proposed a set of criteria to assess repository adherence to cloud-based data stewardship principles. This session aims to further refine and validate these criteria through stakeholder discussion and feedback. Collectively, the refined criteria will inform the development of a data stewardship maturity matrix — conceptually analogous to the Good Pharma Scorecard — that enables repositories and data stewards to evaluate their practices relative to established stewardship maturity benchmarks and to identify areas for improvement.
