We will continue the theme of our TASC-athons from the April Connect 2025 in Boston and the successful final Plenary session with a new interactive session open to all with potential impacts beyond those involved in technical implementations and can include policy and other non-technical products.
We will progress the Verified Implementations Framework towards a voted item. Verified implementations framework is a broadening of the concept of how GA4GH will attempt to verify working implementations of its products. Whilst this is circular the framework will provide a clear and trustworthy mechanism for potential adopters to assess implementations. It is built around three tracks:
- Track 1 – Open-Source deployable software: A detailed, ready-to-apply set of criteria for open-source, deploy-it-yourself implementations of GA4GH technical standards. This track is ready for immediate application.
- Track 2 – Closed-source and platform/service implementations: An attestation-based verification model for commercial platforms and pre-deployed services. This track will be developed through a structured pilot programme.
- Track 3 – Non-software products: A "Verified Adoption" model for organisations implementing GA4GH policy, ethics, and regulatory frameworks. This track will be developed in parallel with Track 2, led by the relevant work streams.
The session will deliver:
- a cooperative and active discussion between all participants;
- shared understanding of the TASC process and a better understanding of how others can work with TASC;
- a delivered, voted, and APPROVED item.
Please log in to join sessions virtually.
