This working session invites those currently or previously involved in the Federated Analysis Systems Project (FASP) group to envision the future of FASP. Currently, FASP aims to implement and deploy GA4GH standards in real-world scenarios, demonstrating interoperability across many institutions and environments. The work of these early GA4GH adopters aims to identify and resolve pain points to implementing GA4GH standards in order to smooth the road for future adopters. Strategies for improving interoperability include the bi-annual GA4GH Hackathon as well as horizontal and vertical demos. As GA4GH increases in scale, both in terms of the number of standards developed and organizations engaged, we must consider how FASP can adapt to this growing community. Join us as we look to the future and help us craft a revived vision and direction for FASP!
