The GA4GH GHIF Community is excited to launch the Infectious Disease Community in partnership with the Public Health Alliance for Genomic Epidemiology (PHA4GE). This workshop will allow those who work with infectious disease data to share and identify commonalities between use cases/challenges that they face. The community will be a bridge between their needs and relevant GA4GH & PHA4GE resources (e.g. working groups, standards, tools etc.). The workshop will include presentations from groups such as the National Swedish Covid-19 Data Portal team, and the Galaxy Covid-19 Project group. Discussion will revolve around understanding the Infectious Disease landscape, and identifying areas of overlap and potential synergies between groups present.
