Khalil graduated from Ecole Centrale Supelec and Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay (MVA) with a major in Applied Mathematics and Machine Learning. After several research experiences in AI/ML, he quickly developed a strong interest in applications to biomedical data. Before joining Owkin, he was a Visiting Researcher at UC Berkeley, where he worked on the analysis of single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) data with deep generative models. He now works as a data scientist within Owkin’s Computational Biology team.
