This session will identify opportunities to improve interoperability between implementations of GA4GH standards. The workshop also aims to uncover areas where additional standardisation might be required to help drive interoperability and adoption. Through the workshop, participants can share their experiences of implementing GA4GH standards, challenges encountered along the way, and opportunities for improving the interoperability for use of GA4GH standards. The whiteboard and unconference format would help gather feedback from the participants on the key areas of focus and possible solutions. In addition, this session will expand upon some of the topics raised at the previous ELIXIR All-Hands meeting where a similar session was run. These topics together with new topics raised by those attending GA4GH Connect will help the community further explore and understand the gaps and challenges in interoperability.
