The GA4GH Connect meeting will focus on addressing the challenges faced by the GA4GH Clinical & Phenotypic Data Capture (Clin/Pheno) Work Stream and introducing new implementers of GA4GH Clin/Pheno standards. This session is designed for stakeholders who are actively involved in clinical and phenotypic data integration and standardisation, and those with ideas for new GA4GH activities or challenges with existing ones.

We will discuss current obstacles in implementing Clin/Pheno standards, share insights from various use cases, and explore potential solutions. New implementers will have the opportunity to present their experiences and provide feedback on the adoption process.

The goal of this session is to foster collaboration, share best practices, and develop a strategic roadmap to overcome existing challenges and enhance the implementation of GA4GH Clin/Pheno standards across diverse settings. This collaborative effort will drive the advancement of clinical and phenotypic data interoperability, ultimately benefiting the global genomics community.
