This GA4GH Connect session will be dedicated to showcasing the new diverse array of Beacon implementations revolutionizing genomic and phenoclinic data discoverability worldwide. The session will feature presentations on pioneering initiatives such as the ELIXIR Beacon Network.
We will explore cutting-edge developments from innovative Beacon projects including the serverless Beacon by Australian BioCommons, designed to optimise scalability and efficiency. We will hear presentations from the European Open Science Cloud for Cancer (EOSC4Cancer) Beacon, tailored to enhance cancer research. Beacon integrated with cBioPortal, offering interoperability for oncogenomic data exploration, will also be discussed. This session will also discuss the TRE-FX platform from Nottingham, which enables federated analysis and learning across Trusted Research Environments (TREs).
Engage with experts and developers driving these advancements, as they share insights into their unique implementations, overcoming challenges, and the future potential of Beacon technologies. This session aims to foster collaboration and ignite discussions on advancing data discoverability across global research landscapes.
Join our exploration of how these innovative Beacon implementations are shaping the future of data discovery and sharing, paving the way for more inclusive and impactful research outcomes.
