Currently, Dr. Gunadi is Professor in Pediatric Surgery. Dr. Gunadi completed his undergraduate and
Pediatric Surgery training at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia and his
doctoral degree at Kobe University, Japan. He has research experience at the RIKEN Center for
Developmental Biology, Kobe, Japan and the McKusick-Nathans Institute of Genetic Medicine, Johns
Hopkins University School of Medicine, US. His research interests are in Pediatric Surgery, Precision
Medicine, Complex Genetic Disorder, Muscular Dystrophy, Congenital Anomaly, Developmental
Biology, Neuroscience, and Liver Transplantation. Some of his fellowships include at the National
University Hospital, Singapore; Kyoto University Hospital, Japan; Great Ormond Street Hospital -
University College London, UK, and Children National Hospital, DC, US.
