Participants will bring one data discovery problem from their own project. In small groups with Discovery products leads, they will map it against existing GA4GH standards, including Beacon and the Experiments Metadata Checklist. The aim is to sort each problem into three buckets: already solved, solvable with adaptation, or missing. Every group leaves with an assessment of their use case and a concrete next step. The Work Stream takes away a short list of unmet needs, taking into account capacity to act on them. The session is aimed at teams new to GA4GH Discovery, especially national initiatives, repositories, and sequencing centres in the region. No prior implementation experience is needed.
