Adj A/Prof Tudor Groza is a Principal Scientist at A*STAR’s Bioinformatics Institute, co-lead of AI and Data Science at the Maternal and Child Health Research Institute, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, and Deputy CTO for Health System Integration in Singapore’s National Precision Medicine Program. His expertise spans knowledge representation, ontologies, natural language processing, and artificial intelligence in precision medicine. Over the past 15 years, he has advanced clinical phenotyping through deep phenotyping tools, terminology standardisation, and integration with national health systems. He has led or contributed to international initiatives within GA4GH, IRDiRC, and the Undiagnosed Diseases Network International, while delivering translational genomics and phenotype-driven approaches to improve rare disease diagnosis and care coordination across start-ups, research institutions, and health systems.
