Catherine Procknow has spent 15 years at Epic. She built, grew, and now leads the team behind
the company's genomics strategy and software, which is used by health systems worldwide at
the point of care and across patient populations. Under her direction, the team has developed
tools that bring genomic data, genetic testing results, variant interpretation, and genomically
informed decision support into patient records. Epic was the first EHR software company to
bring these capabilities together at scale. Before the Genomics team, she worked on the
exchange of clinical records for patient care, with expertise in unifying a patient's data from
multiple organizations into a single view, sharing records across international borders, and
patient matching and identity.
