Nathan Sheffield is an Associate Professor of Public Health Genomics, Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics, Biomedical Engineering, and Data Science at the University of Virginia. He leads a computational biology research group that develops methods and applies them to understand the biology of the epigenome how it contributes to human disease. He co-leads the refget sequence collections working group at GA4GH.
