Nic Encina is the Director of Strategy & Cofounder of the Precision Population Health program at Ariadne Labs, Harvard School of Public Health, and Brigham & Women’s Hospital, and he is also Executive Director & Cofounder of the International Consortium on Newborn Sequencing (ICoNS). Nic is a successful entre- and intra-preneur, having started a series of successful software companies, biotech companies, and many successful intrapreneurial ventures, such as an innovation lab for a Fortune 1000 company, a Harvard research program, and flagship product lines for publicly traded companies. Nic holds graduate degrees in Stem Cell Biology, Computer Science, and an MBA from Yale, and spent the bulk of his academic work as part of the Human Genome Project.
