Rob Annan is President and CEO of Genome Canada, bringing more than a decade of leadership experience in research, innovation, and science policy. With a background in genomics research and expertise in corporate strategy, he is committed to translating ideas into real-world impact. Rob collaborates with researchers, policy leaders, and industry partners across Canada and internationally to advance the economic, environmental, and social benefits of genomics. Previously, he served as Chief Research Officer at Mitacs and has been a Public Policy Forum fellow and Director of Let’s Talk Science. He holds a PhD in biochemistry from McGill University.
