Analytics are important for standards organisations like GA4GH as they help to make data-driven decisions. The data identifies areas for community outreach and areas for continued improvement. Since 2013, GA4GH has built technical standards, policy frameworks, and tools that will expand responsible, voluntary, and secure use of genomic and related health data. To better understand the power of these contributions, the GA4GH Tech Team is developing a dashboard that will be a one-stop exhibit of the impact GA4GH has had so far. Data from sources such as PubMed, PyPI, and GitHub will be harnessed to display the results in a user-friendly graphical interface. The team will present how this data is collected, processed, and displayed. Collaborators across Work Streams can use this to understand how their contributions have helped advance genomic data sharing in a diverse world and gather feedback to direct future development of our dashboard.
