Frédérique Nowak is the coordinator of the 2025 French Genomic Medicine Initiative, which aims to implement precision medicine into the national healthcare system. After obtaining a master's degree in bioengineering and a PhD in molecular pharmacology from the Ecole Centrale de Paris, she started her career at Genset, a biotechnology company, and the Serono Genetics Institute. In 2006, she joined the French National Cancer Institute, the state's agency for health and scientific expertise in oncology, where she was in charge of coordinating precision oncology programs. In 2019, she joined Inserm to coordinate the 2025 French Genomic Medicine Initiative.
