Dr. Sergi Beltran is the Head of the Bioinformatics Unit at the Centre Nacional d'Anàlisi Genòmica in Barcelona (CNAG) and is also affiliated with the Universitat de Barcelona. In the field of Rare Diseases, Dr. Beltran leads the RD-Connect GPAP development (https://platform.rd-connect.eu), facilitating standardized data collation, sharing and analysis for diagnostics research. In addition, he co-leads the ELIXIR Rare Disease Community, is a partner in ERDERA (https://erdera.org/), Screen4Care (https://screen4care.eu/) and IMPaCT (https://impact.isciii.es/en/) and collaborates with IRDiRC, GA4GH, MatchMaker Exchange and the 1+ Million Genomes Initiative, among other.
