Frederik Otzen Bagger is Head of Bioinformatics at Center for Genomic Medicine at Rigshospitalet. The department is delivering over 10,000 ISO-accredited clinical reports annually across diverse diseases, the majority cancer and rare diseases, and his team has been responsible for developing and operating the Danish National Pipeline. His research focuses on explainable deep learning (xAI) for clinical bioinformatics, neoepitope prediction, clinical transcriptomics, and total genomic variation. Frederik led the winning team for FDA international somatic mutation calling challenge, and is Danish delegate for ISO TC215 Genomics Informatics.
