Nevenka Dimitrova is an executive specializing in biomedical data science and
technology, with a robust track record in innovation and strategy. She holds a Ph.D. in
Computer Science and has an extensive portfolio of over 140 publications and 80
patents spanning healthcare, life sciences, and technology. Her career at Philips and
GlaxoSmithKline includes leadership roles where she has driven advancements in data
science, diagnostics, and biopharmaceutical technologies aimed at enhancing human
health through digital transformation. Nevenka led the development of a pioneering
R&D program and went on to establish a new oncology informatics business within
Philips. At Viome, a biotech company, she played a key role in advancing a novel
diagnostic platform for oral cancer. Deeply passionate about the science of nutrition,
she also founded and currently serves on the board of Seed of Life, an innovative
company focused on next-generation nutritional solutions in North
Macedonia. Additionally, Nevenka contributes her expertise to the Institute for Artificial
Intelligence in Serbia, Macedonia 2025, University of Split, Croatia, and the global
Ekagrid Artificial Intelligence initiative, supporting these institutions in becoming centers
of excellence in AI research and technology transfer.
