Abstract
At Pacific Analytics, we specialise in developing scalable, secure, and modular data solutions that empower organisations to unlock the full potential of their data. Our solutions leverage our modular Platform Development Kit (PDK), architected from the ground up to be Secure-by-Design, Federated-by-Default, and Infrastructure-Agnostic. Our approach gives clients the power to control and customize their platform instance, ensuring sustainable growth and freedom from vendor lock-in.
A core tenet of our philosophy is a deep commitment to Open Science, realized through the native implementation of GA4GH and other community standards. Our PDK deeply integrates key GA4GH APIs—including DRS for data access, WES/TES for portable workflows, AAI/Passports for federated security, and Data Connect for federated queries—alongside standards like RO-Crate and OIDC. This standards-first approach provides a robust foundation for building truly interoperable platforms, guaranteeing scientific reproducibility.
Our PDK is designed for demanding environments, enabling the creation of powerful HIPAA and ISO 27001-compliant platforms for multi-site longitudinal cohorts and international consortia managing sensitive multi-omics data. We enable secure federated cohort discovery, "bring-the-code-to-the-data" analysis, and end-to-end provenance tracking, all while respecting data sovereignty. This transforms disparate datasets into a unified, FAIR data ecosystem that accelerates discovery. We believe a standards-based architecture is crucial for building the next generation of collaborative research infrastructure.
