Abstract
The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and genomic data is a pivotal frontier in transforming healthcare, with the potential to significantly enhance the precision and personalization of treatment plans. The GA4GH 13th Plenary will explore the evolving landscape of genomic data standards, interoperability, and how AI-driven innovations are optimizing genomic medicine. This poster presents a comprehensive overview of ongoing advancements in AI and machine learning techniques that are facilitating the analysis of large-scale genomic datasets, enabling the identification of disease biomarkers, predicting treatment responses, and personalizing patient care pathways. We will highlight recent case studies where AI-driven genomic analysis has improved diagnostic accuracy and treatment efficacy, as well as discuss the challenges in data privacy, security, and the ethical implications of AI in genomics. The poster emphasizes the collaborative efforts within the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health (GA4GH) to create global frameworks that enable seamless data sharing, fostering a multidisciplinary approach toward precision medicine.
