Systemic Racism’s Impact on Science

In this workshop we will explore how systemic racism impacts the advance of science. The workshop will draw from participants' own experiences and highlight the negative impact of racism that exists in both disadvantaged and in advantaged spaces. We will explore how interlocking invisible and overt barriers impact everyone’s ability to meet their full potential, and serve to stratify access to resources in a manner that undermines collective productivity and growth.
