Assessing Our Workplace: Part II - Black and Latin X at Broad

Three years ago, the Broad launched an effort to determine how well the organization is living up to its commitment to diversity and inclusion. The first phase, focused on women in science, involved a year of data gathering and analysis followed by community discussion and a written report of our findings, which was released in September 2018. We then undertook a similar process focused on Blacks, African Americans and Latinx, who are also underrepresented populations in science. Broadies involved in the research and development of the Underrepresented Populations report will discuss our progress, process, and findings to date.
