To support a succesful virtual meeting, please follow these participation guidelines as much as possible during the online event:

 

• Use the video function during all breakout sessions

 

• Ensure a good wifi connection, as well as audio and visual outputs, prior to the meeting

 

• Mute yourself when you aren't speaking

 

• Do not multitask (or at least try really hard not to...)

 

• Come prepared to introduce yourself and to be called on to share your perpsective

 

• Use Sli.Do to ask questions during plenary sessions (event code: #GA4GHConnect)

 

• Use the GA4GH Connect Slack channels to to chat with your colleagues and carry on discussions between sessions:
  • #connect-networking: to connect with new and old faces, share updates, and learn more about the community 
  • #connect-wins: to discuss standards development work and advance the GA4GH Strategic Roadmap

 

• Review pre-meeting materials before March 25

 

• Send operational questions and concerns to the GA4GH operations team as soon as they arise
