Welcome to April Connect 2026!
Connect will be held at Le Centre Sheraton Montreal Hotel:

We are sharing the venue map and accompanying instructions to help guide you to each of our event and meeting locations.
Arriving at the conference
Once you arrive at the conference address (listed above), please start at the registration desk (located on Level A, one floor below the hotel Lobby). Here, you will collect your name badge, which you are expected to wear through the entire duration of the event to receive your meals and to ensure a secure event.
Conference registration
You must check in with the registration desk on your first day at the conference to receive your name badge. Registration will begin on Tuesday, 14 April at 8:00 AM EDT. Please note, you must show a form of identification at registration (either your ID card or Connect registration confirmation email) to collect your name badge.
Event agenda
The Connect Agenda can be found on the Agenda page of the event website. All breakout meeting locations are listed on the agenda. The GA4GH registration desk will also have an agenda posted for your perusal.
Meals
A continental breakfast will be served, including seasonal fruits, assorted yogurts and lactose-free yogurts, and freshly baked mini pastries. Breakfast will be available from 8:00 to 9:00 AM EDT in the foyer areas of Level A and Level B, outside of the meeting rooms.
Morning and afternoon breaks have coffee, tea, and light bites available in the foyer areas of Level A and Level B, outside of the meeting rooms.
Lunch will take place each day in the foyer areas of Level A and Level B, outside of the meeting rooms.
Welcome reception
The Connect Welcome Reception will take place on Tuesday, 14 April from 18:00 to 19:30 EDT on Level A (one floor below the hotel lobby) in the foyer outside of the meeting rooms. Appetisers will be served, and a cash bar will be available for attendees to purchase drinks. You must have registered and collected your name badge to join the Connect Welcome Reception.
Connect with other attendees
Join the GA4GH Slack Workspace. Browse through the channels, and add any of interest. Keep an eye on the Connect social channel: #connect-2026-socials. Attendees will be posting about social outings throughout the event week.
