Whether it's an old friend or a new colleague, you can connect with any other attendee (who has consented to share their data!) by finding their name in the event directory and requesting a meeting. Swoogo will set you up with an online meeting space and you can track all your meetings on your personal schedule.

If you plan to tweet about 8th Plenary, make sure to use the event hashtag. GA4GH as well as many of your colleagues will also be tweeting so follow the hashtag to ensure you don't miss a thing.
One thing we are most sad to miss at this year's Plenary meeting are those chance encounters while grabbing some caffeine between sessions. Hop into the Spatial.Chat virtual lobby at any time during the meeting to see who else is hanging out and strike up a conversation with a new colleague or an old friend. The networking hour will take place in the virtual lobby and a additional rooms will be established for the live poster session.
