• The Uppsala Castle which houses two beautiful museums: Uppsala Art Museum and the Vasaborgen (during October, you have to book a private viewing to the Vasaborgen). A visit to the castle would be incomplete without also taking in the serenity of the Uppsala University’s botanical garden.
• Viking Burial grounds, runestones and the Gamla Uppsala Museum: Explore the ancient Viking burial grounds and 1000-year-old paths of Old Uppsala.
• Uppsala Cathedral: The largest cathedral within the Nordic countries and a key Swedish cultural monument since its inauguration in 1435.
