BEFORE THE MEETING
How do I register?
Event registration can be found here. You can register for either in-person or virtual attendance. Virtual attendance is free, while in-person has an accompanying registration fee. When does registration end?
We have rolled out a new registration timeline this year that includes Early Bird, Regular, and Late Registration. Each category will have a different associated cost. The registration timeline can be found below.
Early Bird: 29 January to 23 April
Regular: 24 April to 31 August
Late: 1 to 22 September
Last day to cancel with 75% refund: 1 September
In-person registration will close on 22 September 2025. In-person registration is not available onsite. Registration for virtual attendance is now open and will remain open throughout the event.
Why has there been an update to registration fees?
In order to ensure the financial sustainability of the GA4GH Plenary meetings, new registration tiers have been introduced. There is a guidance document to help you determine which registration category is relevant. Active contributors, confirmed through responses to the GA4GH annual Inclusivity and Impact Survey, will have discounted registration fees.

How do I get to the venue?
Cabs or public transportation are available from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to the UKK. More information on how to reach the venue can be found on the UKK website.
What visa do I need to have to travel to Sweden?
A visa may be required to enter Sweden. Visa information can be found here. At the top of the page, you can select your country to determine the applicable requirements. Please review Swedish government travel policies before travelling.
Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes. Please tell us about any dietary restrictions when you register for the event. If you need to alter your preferences, please contact operations@ga4gh.org or log in and update your registration directly.
Can I change my registration?
You can change the details by logging into your account. You can cancel up until 1 September to receive a 75% refund on your registration fees.
Can I present a poster at 13th Plenary?
All attendees can submit a poster abstract as part of their 13th Plenary registration. More information about poster submissions can be found here. Posters must showcase or be related to GA4GH work. Abstracts are due 30 July 2025, and submissions will be evaluated by GA4GH staff based on scientific merit and relevance to the GA4GH Strategic Road Map.
Is travel funding support available?
GA4GH has a limited amount of funding to support the attendance of invited guests, speakers, and participants at GA4GH meetings. Eligibility requirements include:
- financial need;
- having a specific role at the meeting;
- cannot participate remotely;
- from an underrepresented population within GA4GH or from a low to middle income country;
- will have a meaningful impact on the meeting or its outcomes.
If you meet the above eligibility requirements, you may submit this Travel Support Request form by 16 May. Applying does not guarantee funds. The GA4GH team will be in touch with travel fund recipients by 30 May.
