We are now accepting proposals for Connect sessions for the GA4GH 13th Plenary meeting!
Connect sessions will be held 8 to 10 October 2025 and are designed to spark discussion, drive collaboration, and bring forward the most pressing topics for our community. All members of the GA4GH community are welcome to propose a session that highlights cross-collaboration, emerging priorities, or critical conversations that benefit from in-person engagement.

Submission requirements
To collect proposal submissions, we are using a platform called Nolt. Through Nolt, you can submit your Connect session proposal or engage with other submissions. On the proposal form, you will be asked to:
- Identify at least one in-person session chair who will help lead and facilitate the session. At least two-thirds of session presenters must attend in person.
- Indicate any preferred dates and times for your session. We will do our best to accommodate preferences, but scheduling cannot be guaranteed.
While you do not need a Nolt account to submit or engage with submissions, we encourage you to create a Nolt account, as it helps us easily identify contributors and follow up if we have any questions.
Share your feedback on other Connect session proposals
Everyone in the GA4GH community is invited to review the proposals, leave comments, and upvote sessions that resonate with them. Your input helps us understand community needs, priorities, and areas of interest.
Evaluation criteria
The GA4GH Secretariat will review all proposals with consideration for:
- community interest and engagement;
- relevance to GA4GH’s mission and strategic goals;
- the need for real-time, in-person discussion;
- potential to encourage cross-Work-Stream collaboration and broad engagement.
