If you want to book a hotel room with the group rate ¥820 (limited number of rooms) at our venue Sofitel Shanghai Sheshan Oriental, please fill in the Hotel Registration page and type in “Group rate request ¥820“ in the “Notes” area. After receiving the confirmation email from us, you can check in and pay at the front desk upon arrival.
Visitor Visa for China
If you require an invitation letter as part of your visa application, please make sure that the Hotel Registration page above is properly filled out. Please reach out to us if you have not received the invitation letter processing email. Please note that we will need 2 weeks to process your invitation letter.
If you are not sure if you need a visa, please refer to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center. However, we highly recommend that you confirm your country’s requirements through its foreign travel office or consulate.
Transportation
If you arrive at Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG):

Recommended Option: Taxi. Approximately 1-2 hours depending on traffic. Taxi fare ranges from ¥247 to ¥314 (approximately $39 to $50)

Metro. Approximately 3 hours. Metro pass is ¥9 (approximately $1.6). Route: Subway Line 2 East Extension Line > Pudong International Airport > Guanglan Road > Subway Line 2 (Xujing East) > Century Avenue > Subway Line 9 (Songjiang South Railway Station) > Sheshan. Walking distance is 1.5 km (0.93 miles) to the hotel.
If you arrive at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (SHA) or train station:

Recommended Option: Taxi. Approximately 30-50 mins. Taxi fare ranges from ¥60 to ¥70 (approximately $10 to $11)

Metro. Approximately 2 hours. Metro pass is ¥6 (approximately $1). Route: Subway Line 10 (Xinjiangwancheng) > Hongqiao Airport Terminal 1 > Jiaotong University > Subway Line 11 (Disney) > Xujiahui > Subway Line 9 (Songjiang South Railway Station) > Sheshan. Walking distance is 1.5 km (0.93 miles) to the hotel.
