Conference registration

Please proceed to Level 6 of the One Farrer Hotel. Registration kiosks will be located in the Foyer. Please use the kiosk to print your name badge, which you will be expected to wear throughout the duration of the meeting week.

Registration for the Plenary meeting will begin on Tuesday, 29 September from 8:00 AM SGT. On each subsequent conference day, registration opens at 8:30 AM SGT.

Poster presenters: Check in at the poster desk on Tuesday, 29 September from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM SGT to receive velcro to mount your poster.

Plenary speakers: please proceed to the GA4GH manual registration desk where you can check in and receive instructions. 

 

Event agendas

All 14th Plenary agendas (National Initiatives Forum, Plenary, and Connect) can be found on our 14th Plenary event website.

All breakout meeting locations are listed on the agenda. The event information desk will also have an agenda posted for your perusal.

 

Plenary opening session

The Plenary opening session begins promptly at 9:00 AM SGT in the Grand Ballroom. Please plan to find a seat in the Grand Ballroom in advance of the session start. As a reminder, our event has surpassed the venue’s capacity, meaning that once the seats in the Grand Ballroom have filled, we will be directing people to an overflow room which will be equipped with a livestream of the event. We encourage people to fill in every empty seat and arrive early to ensure your place in the Grand Ballroom.

 

Meals

Morning breaks will occur in the foyer and have coffee, tea, and light bites available. Please note that a formal breakfast will not be served.

Lunch buffets will be available in the foyer each day. Please note that sponsor lunch talks will take place in the Grand Ballroom and Spottiswood. 

Afternoon breaks will occur in the foyer and have coffee, tea, and light snacks.

 

Interoperability Showcase: poster session and networking

The Interoperability Showcase combines the poster session with exhibitor booths to share a cohesive story about collaborative global efforts to enable genomic and health data sharing.

Light refreshments will be served during the showcase. 

Plenary Posters will be available for perusal throughout the meeting starting Tuesday, 29 September. There will be a dedicated poster session during the Interoperability Showcase on Wednesday, 30 September. 

Poster presenters should check in with the poster desk, where you will receive velcro to mount your poster. All posters must be mounted on Tuesday, 29 September from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM SGT. Posters must be removed by 17:30 PM SGT on Friday, 10 October.

Connect meeting

Connect sessions will take place from 1 to 2 October, and will be open only to in-person attendees who registered for the Connect meeting in advance. Connect is now at capacity, and we cannot accommodate any additional in-person attendees. If you are interested in joining Connect sessions in a virtual capacity, please find video conferencing information here. 

If you are attending Connect in person and would like to access the Zoom meeting information, you must first register for virtual participation here. Once registered in the system, you may then log in to the Event Hub to access the Zoom information for all Connect sessions.

 

What to bring with me

While the weather in Singapore will be hot and humid, the conference venue will be kept cool and air conditioned, so please dress accordingly. For international attendees, please be reminded that you may need to bring an adaptor if you wish to plug in your electronics.
